Established in 2015Papá Pedro, Inc. was established in 2015 in the town of Maricao, Puerto Rico. It is located on PR-357 road, next to the Maricao River close to the famous Maricao Fish Nursery. This is the initiative of a simple and sensitive family eager to promote the highest human quality through the elaboration of artisan wine, rum and craft beer.
Excellent pairing, for light as well as full meals, is carefully and meticulously elaborated in our green mountains, by the Quinones-Camacho family and, particularly, by the brothers Ricky and Edgardo. They have been inspired by the passion of their father for this wonderful fluid and his first name, Don Pedro Quiñones-Román, named the wine “Papá Pedro”, honoring a valuable human-family legacy. |
Fermentation ProcessFor the elaboration of the artisanal wine, Papá Pedro, Inc. imports and uses high quality yeast and grapes from California. The wine is pre-treated for a period of not less than 100 days with aromatized oak tree wood with touches of vanilla.
Actually, the Company officially presents the product as "Papá Pedro - Red Wine". These wines are available in an emerald green bottle of a typical commercial size (750ml). Its label has the image of Don Pedro engraved on an oak barrel, a rustic map of our island that brings together all the continents and highlights the location of the town of Maricao. Details of the topography are incorporated on its stamp to add genuineness to the labeling. The product has undergone a private tasting process for several years receiving the praise and reviews of wine-savvy lovers from various countries such as Puerto Rico, the United States and Central America. Papá Pedro is an emerging small company that bets on the value of local talent. Papá Pedro Inc. has its wine available for tasting, acquisition and enjoyment in its own atelier (it's fermentation and maturation facilities) workshop in the town of Maricao, Puerto Rico. |
